Pickup Anywhere in Rzeszów — and the Return Trip from the Border

Rzeszów Airport (RZE) transfers to the border
Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport (RZE) is a convenient starting point for travellers continuing to Ukraine by road. For a Rzeszów Airport to Medyka transfer, we meet arriving passengers in the terminal with a name board, track your flight for delays, and drive straight to the Medyka–Shehyni border, about 100 km away — travel time depends on traffic. It works the same in reverse: cross at Shehyni into Medyka and your driver takes you directly to Rzeszów Airport for a departing flight.
Booking and prepayment
Pickup directly from the border crossing — meeting you in Medyka right after you walk across — requires 100% prepayment before the trip. The driver is dispatched specifically to meet you at the border, so payment is confirmed in advance. You can pay by PayPal, Revolut, Wise, or Ukrainian bank card. Pickups starting in Rzeszów itself (city, airport or hotel) don’t require prepayment.

Vehicle queues at the Medyka–Shehyni car crossing can run to several hours. The pedestrian crossing can be a useful alternative when vehicle queues are long — though pedestrian wait times vary too, so it’s worth checking current conditions before you travel. This applies whether you’re arranging a Rzeszów to Shehyni transfer or the reverse, Shehyni to Rzeszów.
Here’s how the trip works in both directions:
Rzeszów → Lviv: a driver takes you from Rzeszów or Rzeszów Airport to Medyka. You cross the border on foot through the pedestrian lane. Your driver on the Ukrainian side is waiting at Shehyni and takes you on to Lviv or anywhere else in Ukraine.
Lviv → Rzeszów: the same in reverse — your Lviv driver brings you to Shehyni, you walk across into Medyka, and a driver is already waiting to take you on to Rzeszów or Rzeszów Airport.
Drivers are arranged in advance and will be waiting for you after you cross the border, so you’re not left looking for transport with your luggage. Border crossing conditions and waiting times can change with little notice — allow extra time and stay reachable on WhatsApp during the crossing.
